Information - Zenigame, AKA Squirtle is Pokemon #7 in the original Pokedex. He's a Tiny Turtle species, and a Water type. His back swells and hardens shortly after birth. He can learn some powerful moves such as Hydro Pump, and can also use two out of the first 5 HMs.

Reason for adoration - Like many, my first ever Pokemon was Zenigame. I always thought I'd go for Hitokage first, being that I usually prefer dragons over turtles. But when I thought about it, despite evolution terms, I chose Zenigame before I even played the game. For ages, I presumed that my Pokemon was a male, but when Gold/Silver came out, I found out it was a she, which was slightly more rarer than the males. Since she has been my partner, I have always adored this Pokemon. She actually won me the final battles all on her own, without most of the team's help. This Pokemon will always be my favourite <3
