Information -Takaishi Takeru & Yagami Hikari are both from Digimon Adventure & Digimon 02. In Adventure, Takeru went to the Digital World with everyone else. However, Hikari didn't catch up until a lot later, as she skipped Summer Camp because she had a cold. When Hikari finally found her Digimon, her crest and her position as the final Chosen Child, she too went to the Digital World and joined the crew. There were now two angel Digimon: Angemon, owned by Takeru, and Angewomon, owned by Hikari, which meant most of the time they fought side by side. In 02, they are now extremely close, and aren't apart very long.

Reason for adoration - Ever since I watched Adventure, I have loved these two as a couple for ages. They're both the only two that are really young in the first season, and both of them have Angels as their partner when they've evolved. The way they were by each other's side at every possible turn made them very special to me. In 02, once they've grown up, that friendship is still there, and is now even more powerful than before. We have many images of Takeru with his arm around Hikari, and in everyone image they're together, most of the time they're always smiling at each other. Takeru's devotion to her is adorable, and the way they always cheer each other on is very cute too. The fact that even though Hikari has a secret admirer, but she still chose Takeru out of them both is what I love about them too. And Takeru trusts her so much, that he never gets jealous either. Out of all series ever made, this will always be my OTP of all time.
